We installed 4,000 ft. of a new 8" steam, and 4" condensate lines in a utility trench. There were 3 large pits for field connections. We worked in conjunction with the General Contractor for this project. We had the trench poured in place and the lids pre-cast on site. We provide the required excavation and backfill. These lines were placed in a buried concrete vault that distributed the steam from the main boiler facility to a distribution line.  This eliminated one boiler room enabling Hill Air Force Base to mothball two large boilers and related equipment. We encountered many existing utilities during the excavation process. There many site conditions that required resolution on the spot.
