Predator Project - Creech Air Force Base, NV Project Title: Predator Beddown, Creech Air Force Base, NV Contract Amount: $ 8,253,032 Owner: L.A. District Corps of Engineers General Contractor: Okland Construction The Predator Complex was the most unique project we have ever completed. There are 10 Buildings that are supported by Plumbing, Heating and Temperature Controls. This entire complex is located at Creech Air Force Base, Indian Springs Nevada. The remote location created a backdrop for the necessitated importance of this complex to our Military. Each building is unique in its entirety, yet fits together very well for the management of the Unmanned Air Assault Vehicles. Our systems include Chilled Water and Equipment, Hot Water and Equipment, LP Gas Fired Equipment, DX Cooling Equipment, Compressed air and Equipment, Plumbing Piping and fixtures. The installation was unique as well. We worked in Hangers, Administration Buildings, and Maintenance buildings. These buildings keep the UAV's well serviced and air borne to protect our valiant men and women in our armed forces that are in harms way. We also worked on the Munitions and Storage Igloos. We provide the 12 vent stacks that are on both ends of the Igloos that provide ventilation to the stored munitions. They have a unique link that closes the vents in event of a ground fire, thus preserving the stored materials. |
